A Charity Association for the Destitute and Abandoned People
CADAP has secured 2924m2 land for the construction of standard Care Giving Center and Higher Clinic for the destitute, disabled and elderly people. The land is provided by Addis Ababa City Administration in May, 2012 free of charge. Stone-setting ceremony was hold on March 03, 2013. The setting was done from three selected beneficiaries represented from elders and disabled youth groups. The construction has been commenced in February, 2014.
The center has three blocks with a built-up area of 755m2, 540m2 and 720m2 respectively. All Building Blocks consist of four floors (G+3).
· Block-1: Office, functional rooms, bed rooms for 200 persons, handy craft training centers
· Block-2; Bed rooms for 300-350 persons
· Block-3: Higher Clinic having minor operation theatre, 40 beds for patients
The construction activities to be carried out in 3 phases. First phase (Block-1) construction has been started in February 2014 and scheduled to be completed in June 2015. Construction of Block -2 and Block-3 will be commenced in 2015.
